Jordis, I think your song Try Not was Awesome!!! I would totally buy the single now, if it were out. :o) I just know even if you don't get a chance to join Inxs You will totally have major record deals, love your voice keep it real girl you Rock!!
Here are some songs that I would love to hear ya sing, Lucky by Bif Naked, The Last Unicorn by America, D'yer Mak'er by Led Zeppelin, Dust in the Wind, by the Eagles ,Anyone of the Beatles songs I love the beatles, Crimson and Clover maybe with a twist, change her to him in the lyrics? Last Kiss by Ricky Nelson or Pearl Jam , Heartbreaker, Pat Benatar Best of luck! You Go girl!!! I chose most of these song cause I love them and I think with Your voice you could really make these songs more awesome, some would challenge your voice and others I think you would be dead on. Like heartbreaker, and Lucky just to name a few.

Oh my gosh! You are awesome! I downloaded your version of "The Man Who Sold the World". It is my favorite song. I play it over and over. I've downloaded some other songs you have done and have a Jordis Unga compliation CD started. It is awesome. If you don't get the INXS gig, I hope you get a recording contract. You really belong on stage. You really are great! Can't wait to hear what you do next! Good Luck!

I think you are the BEST one there. I have watched this show from the beginning, its my favorite. And you have the most awesome voice, i just love it. I heard tonight you are 23, well girl, that's only a number. Use that young voice and get that energy going and you'll have your dreams come true. You were right on tonight when you said you started out great but have slid a little, not in same words but hey...In my opinion, you should get that confidence going again cause you have it all going for you, you just let a little setback get you down. In your words....lets do it!!!!

When I heard you sing this song I thought it sounded awsome. I wanted to hear what it sounded like originally since I have never heard it before, n I listened Nirvana doing it and they were no comparison to you. You nailed it. I hope to hear you sing it again.

You know you can sing, and INXS does as well. You are auditioning for INXS, so you have to ROCK again ! NO REPEATS. That would suck, meaning we all have your stuff in our computers or TiVo'd. We saw you do a "baladish" song last week (which was great, no... excellent), now it's time to rock again. It seems INXS likes classic rocking songs, so I suggest sticking to famous songs while adding your J.U. twist at the same time. You know what I'm talking about when I say your "twist", make it your own...whatever.
I caught the show halfway through the season, so I don't know if these have been sung already. Here are my suggestions:

I voted for We Are the Champions because when I first saw you I couldn't believe the power of your voice. This big booming thing was coming from such a tiny body!! I want to hear that energy and power again and I know it can happen with this song. Fill the room. Go for it girl!!!!

There are 2 songs that spring to mind that are worth thinking about... I Know they sound strange but both are matchbox 20 songs...
I would love to hear you sing Hang, and a rockin one called Tired. ( Tired is on the single with push.)
I think you doing these songs would go off... you have the right voice and it involves a fair bit of vocal range in some spots... esp. Hang.

I would like to hear you sing the famous Janis Joplin song, Me and Bobby Mcgee. Your voice has a blues
quality that the others singers do not have, and I would like to see you rock the house with this high-energy Janis Joplin song.

When I listen to you singing it I just close my eyes and am taken away...WOW!
I did see on here a suggestion for you to sing "Who's Loving You". I do agree. I think with your voice it would be sung the best it could ever be.

I have loved Jordis' voice since day one. The songs she sings are amazing, but the one that captured both mine and my husbands attention was "The Man Who Sold The World". We play it constantly. I would love to see her perform it again on stage. Jordis rocks!

JD is just one of those guys who lives off his good looks and walks all over people. and some one as cool as jordis stood up to him and its about time. whos going to want some cocky im better on my own attatued in there band.

I chose WATC, because I think with the vocal range that Jordis has, she can nail this song spot on.

It is also an all-time favorite for me, as it was played when my high school hockey team won the state championship in 1980/1981. I still get goosebumps whenever I hear this song.

Jordis, I usually hate watching reality t.v. shows but I can't miss Rockstar because of you. I litterly get goosebumps listening to you sing. You make it look so easy. I heard Led Zepplin All Of My Love and immediately thought how I would love to hear you sing it. You would rock it out! Good luck. You don't need it.

Talk about playing it safe. Every song is a ballad. We know you can do them, how about going out on a limb! I'm sure Imagine will be great, but can you rock? So far I don't think so, every rock song you've killed.

Dazed & Confused by Led Leplin--and I almost don't know why~while watching Jordis the last few wks I kept getting the image of her singing this song!! Also, it sort of reminds me of where Jordis has been finding her self as of late (losing lyrics, off on her last song)-It might be powerhouse for her...its a strong song..not too long> But can picture Jordis taking this song to a great place-if she wanted to!--(too late for my comment??)..thankyou.
